Job Summary:
Fund Accountants are essential to the success of our business, providing accurate and timely financial services to clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Operations Specialist to join our team in Mumbai, India.

About the Role:
  • This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Fund Accountant to take on a leadership role, ensuring the efficient delivery of financial reports and services to clients.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing the completion of Fund Accounting processes, and maintaining service level agreements.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for complex client issues will be a key responsibility.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely production and delivery of reporting to clients by ensuring efficient trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, query handling, and other ad hoc reporting for funds.
  2. Team Management: Ensure that team members comply with operating policies, procedures, and guidelines in the completion of Fund Accounting processes.
  3. Service Level Agreements: Maintain service level agreements, memorandums, and client delivery summaries.
  4. Escalation Point: Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues.


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fund Accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Fund Accounting.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems.
