Job Description:
This role involves the execution of standard tasks within the database administration domain. It requires acquiring workable knowledge of various technologies, including Snowflake, MongoDB, and Qlik, with a dedicated 3-month period for learning each technology.

The successful candidate will specialize in at least one of these technologies and perform standard database administration tasks, such as monitoring, installation, configuration, patching, backups, and recovery, high availability configuration, database refresh, data replication, code reviews, and SQL tuning.

The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to acquire knowledge of new database technologies while on the job, execute tasks independently, self-initiate work, and engage deeply with their tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree and 8+ years of experience with Oracle relational database platform are required. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of relational database management systems and principles, database security, Oracle Internals, and SQL tuning. They should also possess advanced experience with standard Oracle database administration tasks, solid knowledge of Linux, and shell scripting.
