Are you passionate about delivering exceptional travel experiences? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients' travel requirements are met with the highest level of satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate flight bookings, including domestic and international flights, as well as rail travel.
  • Provide expert information on travel products and services, such as visa requirements, foreign exchange, health regulations, and insurance options.
  • Handle refund and cancellation requests for domestic and international air tickets.
  • Work closely with clients to issue tickets, utilizing deal codes, bonus miles, and other rewards as applicable.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication scripts to address various topics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless support to clients.
  • Assist with invoicing and recovery processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Identify client needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions or alternatives while offering relevant travel information, brochures, and publications.
  • Build long-lasting relationships by exceeding client expectations and going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling platforms.
  • Ability to effectively interact, communicate, and negotiate with clients.
  • Capacity to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Sound understanding of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Passionate interest in geography and strong knowledge of travel destinations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately process information.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate with a Diploma in Travel and Tourism is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience working with a reputable travel management company.
