Operational Role Summary

This key operational position is accountable for overseeing the daily functions of a department, ensuring seamless operations and efficient workflow.

The individual in this role will be responsible for executing weekly ordering procedures, including creation of purchase orders for replenishment and non-replenishment items. Additionally, they will analyze demand and forecast data to identify any exceptions or outliers, communicating findings with stakeholders as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute PO management activities such as PO revisions, tracking PO status, identifying exceptions, and reporting progress updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Manage surveys for supply chain interruption events like factory shutdowns, vessel shortages, adverse weather, and other similar events.
  • Develop and maintain process SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and update them regularly.
  • Maintain responsibility for the upkeep and disposal of documents.
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives by collaborating with technology and product teams during design workshops, testing solutions, and implementation.
  • Provide support to internal customers by reviewing project requests and plans, analyzing data, driving solutions to business problems, and providing recommendations for system changes and overall process changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field OR 2 years' experience in business management, merchandising, Supply Chain in Retail, CPG, or similar industry.
