Job Overview

We need a hands-on technical leader to turn mock-ups into a secure, scalable, AI-powered platform and seed an engineering culture from day one.

  • Craft a multi-tenant backend on Node + Express.
  • Model MongoDB schemas for design assets, RFQs, POs, and workflow events.
  • Deliver clean, versioned REST/GraphQL APIs for the frontend and third-party integrations.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Design and build the core architecture.
  2. Embed intelligent, AI-driven features.
  3. Lead DevOps & cloud deployment.
  4. Set engineering standards & strategy.
  5. Recruit, mentor, and scale the team.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • MERN expertise: 5+ years building production Node/Express APIs & MongoDB models.
  • Demonstrable AI/LLM integration (OpenAI, embeddings, vector DBs, etc.).
  • Cloud & DevOps fluency: Docker, Terraform/Pulumi, GitHub Actions (or equivalent).
  • Security mindset: OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, rate-limiting, secure SDLC familiarity.
  • Startup DNA: shipped 0→1 products, thrive on ambiguity, and communicate crisply with non-technical stakeholders.
