Senior Frontend Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our Core team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on building complex web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

This role requires a solid understanding of responsive design principles, as well as experience with state management libraries and the ability to adapt to existing patterns.

We are looking for a talented developer who can contribute to the evolution of our platform's user-facing experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the architecture and development of scalable, performant frontend systems using React (often with Next.js) and TypeScript.
  2. Build elegant, intuitive interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.
  3. Develop reusable component libraries and design systems to support consistency and velocity across multiple product surfaces.
  4. Optimize web applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility at scale.
  5. Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, backend engineers, and users to translate requirements and feedback into effective frontend solutions.
  6. Apply UI/UX best practices and propose design improvements to enhance the user experience.
  7. Contribute to establishing and maintaining end-to-end testing practices and write robust unit tests for code.
  8. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to frontend architecture discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend development.
  • Proven expertise in building complex web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with state management libraries and the ability to adapt to existing patterns.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles.
