Job Summary:

This pivotal role involves guiding a team of analysts in crafting and maintaining cutting-edge applications built upon RPG-based technologies. Utilizing expertise in AS400/RPG, including RPGLE and RPG Free formatting, you will be instrumental in designing and developing modules that drive business growth through seamless JSON integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and execute development and system support operations with precision
  • Craft high-quality code in RPGLE and RPG Free formatting that meets and exceeds expectations
  • Foster collaboration with SQL and SQLRPGLE to optimize data management
  • Represent the IT division in meetings and foster relationships with stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough QA & Testing to ensure exceptional quality standards

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems for streamlined processes
  • Development of in-house software leveraging RPG technologies for customized solutions
  • PMP and ITIL Certifications as indicators of professional excellence

Requirements:

  • A strong foundation in programming using AS400/RPG technologies
  • Superior communication and leadership skills for effective team guidance
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results
  • A strong sense of ownership and bias for action in driving project success
