Senior Software Engineering Manager: Technical Visionary

As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will drive innovation and excellence in software engineering. With a passion for technical vision, you will lead the design and development of high-performance web applications that meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and develop work schedules.
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance on technical best practices and mentoring them for growth.
  • Develop and implement software architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Document technical designs and configurations, providing transparent insights for stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.
  • Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, helping them grow in their technical capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, offering solutions to overcome challenges.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 9-12 years of experience in software engineering or management.
  • Strong expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular JS, React JS, Database etc.
  • Experience with modern software development practices (Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD)
  • Proficient in software architecture, design patterns, and principles (e.g., microservices, RESTful APIs, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development best practices
