About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned expert to oversee and manage reporting and data-related functions within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background and hands-on knowledge of MIS/Report development with proven experience in task management and resolving reporting issues.

  • Manage the end-to-end reporting processes, including data extraction, transformation, and presentation.
  • Ensure overnight MIS jobs, and dashboards run successfully; troubleshoot failures in SQL/Python.
  • Lead a team of data support analysts responsible for developing and maintaining MIS reports. Distribute workload across 4–6 analysts, set priorities, and monitor SLA adherence.

The successful candidate will be able to balance daily firefighting, stakeholder management, and long-term process optimisation while driving automation and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience in automated reporting and MIS.

You will also require:

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data.
  • Strong experience in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to fix issues related to data and reports.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with functional leads.

This is an individual contributor + lead role that requires prior experience of working in BFSI/NBFC/Lending industry and knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance.
