Job Title: Reporting and Data Lead

Job Summary:

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee and manage reporting and data-related functions within our organization.

\

The ideal candidate will have a strong background and hands-on knowledge of MIS/report development with proven experience in task management and resolving reporting issues.

\

This role requires someone who can balance daily operations, lead a team of data analysts, stakeholder management, and long-term process optimization.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Manage end-to-end reporting processes, including data extraction, transformation, and presentation.\
  • Ensure overnight MIS jobs and dashboards run successfully; troubleshoot failures in SQL/Python.\
  • Lead a team of data support analysts responsible for developing and maintaining MIS reports.\
  • Interact with different teams – decide which requests need immediate delivery, which can be automated, and which should be declined/redirected.\
  • Effective management of business-critical support requests during late evenings/early mornings/holidays.\
  • Hands-on debugging when issues arise in Python scripts, SQL queries, or dashboards.\
  • Identify repetitive manual work and drive automation/optimization initiatives with the help of BI and data strategy teams.

Requirements:

\
  • ~Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, quant, or related field).\
  • ~6-10 years of relevant work experience in automated reporting and MIS.\
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data.\
  • Strong experience in Python for data processing and automation.\
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to fix issues related to data and reports.\
  • Prior exposure to tech/data support in odd working hours.\
  • Strong project management and process optimization mindset.\
  • Prior experience of working in BFSI/NBFC/Lending industry is a plus.\
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance is a plus.\
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is a plus.
