Principal Design Engineer EMIR

We are seeking an experienced Principal Design Engineer to drive the implementation of complex SoC blocks or full-chip designs.

About This Role

This is a challenging position that requires a deep understanding of ASIC EMIR/PD flow and EDA tools. As a key member of our backend implementation team, you will be responsible for RTL-to-GDSII implementation and signoff closure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient EMIR/PD flows using industry-standard EDA tools such as Redhawk-SC and Redhawk – IR.
  • Analyze EMIR violations and collaborate with physical design teams to provide effective solutions.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Python, Perl, and shell scripts to automate tasks and improve productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with PnR tools can be advantageous in this role.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in ASIC EMIR/PD flow and EDA tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation is a plus.
