Claims Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review dental claim documents and settlements to ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines.
  • Process claims accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Meet productivity targets while ensuring the accurate processing of dental claims.
  • Possess a strong understanding of claims adjudication principles and ICT/CPT codes.
  • Have knowledge of policy concepts such as deductibles, co-insurance, copays, and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Effectively learn, adapt, and implement process guidelines into practice, working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Handle escalations professionally and ensure quality and productivity targets are met.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and information security standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of claims processing fundamentals.
