Job Title: Testing Manager

Job Summary

The Cooling Lab Testing Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of Psychrometric Lab and Chiller Lab, ensuring efficient installation, commissioning, and performance testing of Precision Air Conditioners and chillers.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, and performance testing of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
  • Internal engineering tests as well as customer tests according to AHRI and Eurovent standards
  • Periodic maintenance of lab infrastructure to prevent downtime
  • Calibration of lab instruments according to ISO17025 standards by NABL certified parties
  • Coordination with front office team for test requirements, validation, and confirmation
  • Coordination with production team for unit availability dates and testing activities
  • Coordination with administration team for hosting customers during visits
  • Validation and development of competencies for lab engineers and technicians
  • Procurement of required spares, AMC activities, PM activities, and troubleshooting
  • Maintenance of 5S and EHS rules in the work area
  • Preventive maintenance of test labs
  • Identification of critical spares and inventory management
  • Improvement of productivity at the lab by minimizing test duration

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration and Air-conditioning stream with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing cooling test labs, installation, and commissioning of air-water cooled chillers, site acceptance tests, and troubleshooting of chillers. Travel may be required.
