Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

  • Create detailed HVAC system designs, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads, airflow, and energy requirements to determine the appropriate equipment and system configurations.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure designs are integrated into overall project plans.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress, ensuring that designs are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress, resolve issues, and coordinate with other disciplines.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including equipment selection, material specifications, and installation guidelines.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) and reviewing submittals.
  • Generate reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 - 8years of experience in HVAC design engineering.
  • Proven experience with HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software
  • Experience with building codes, energy codes, and industry standards.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
