Lead the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and analyzing UAS structures, working with composite materials and lightweight technologies, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD)/Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as SolidWorks and ANSYS.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze UAS structures, including airframes, landing gear, and payloads, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize CAD/FEA tools to create detailed designs and perform simulations to validate structural integrity and aerodynamic efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to drive project success.
- Oversee projects from concept to prototype to testing to delivery, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or related industries, with a strong focus on UAS design and development.
