We're Hiring: Aircraft Designer – Advisor/Senior

Bengaluru, India | Full-time | Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace

Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace is seeking an experienced Aircraft Designer to lead the design and development of next-gen unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) ranging from tactical drones to MALE combat aerial vehicles.

What You'll Do

Lead conceptual & detailed aircraft design (10–800 kg UAS).

Provide expertise in aerodynamics, propulsion, structures & avionics integration.

Oversee simulations (CFD/FEA) & ensure regulatory compliance.

Mentor engineering teams & support project execution.

Drive innovation in materials & manufacturing (composites, additive mfg).

What We're Looking For

Master's/Ph.D. in Aerospace/Mechanical Engg.

10+ years in aircraft design (UAS preferred).

Expertise in CAD (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) & simulation tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN).

Strong track record in leading complex aerospace projects.
