Job Opportunity for Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead our development efforts. This individual will be responsible for optimizing the codebase, developing high-quality products that exceed client expectations in terms of value and benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead the end-to-end design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for real-time event-based systems.
  • Direct senior software engineers, define software architecture, and collaborate with other teams to explore existing systems and identify areas of complexity and potential risks.
  • Deliver high-availability and high-performance platforms using microservices architecture.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in code and devise solutions to production and non-production issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with open-source projects and technology trends to introduce innovative solutions in our products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in designing and developing scalable and distributed enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JPA, Spring framework, and RESTful web services.
  • Excellent coding skills in Java.
  • Experience with managing, implementing, and optimizing big data stores such as MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AngularJS, React, and D3.js.
  • A strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
