Job Title: Battery Management System Tester

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Management System Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating Battery Management Systems (BMS) and ensuring proper CAN communication for lithium-ion battery packs used in EVs and Energy Storage Systems.

This role involves working closely with design and R&D teams to improve system performance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of BMS issues, and documenting test cases and results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BMS architecture, lithium-ion batteries, and CAN bus protocol. Additionally, they should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication and reporting abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform Functional Testing: Test and validate BMS hardware and software to ensure compliance with specifications.
  2. CAN Protocol Testing: Conduct message monitoring, debugging, and analysis using tools like CANalyzer or equivalent.
  3. Document Test Results: Prepare detailed reports and document test cases.
  4. Troubleshoot Issues: Collaborate with design and R&D teams to identify and resolve BMS issues.
  5. Improve System Performance: Work closely with design and R&D teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • B.E/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Embedded Systems or related field.
  • Strong understanding of BMS architecture, lithium-ion batteries, and CAN bus protocol.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and reporting abilities.
