Key Role

The Lead – Strategy and Policy is a pivotal position at the nexus of regulation, business strategy, and policy advocacy.

This high-impact role demands creativity, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Develop and articulate policy positions across telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
  • Monitor and analyze competition, market and regulatory trends to provide strategic updates in support of policy advocacy.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.
  • Support the Chief Regulatory Officer in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research, or a related strategic function.
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure advantageous.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
