  • Job Description:
  • We are looking for a skilled Release Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software releases across our organization.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, Operations, and Product Management, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Developing and maintaining comprehensive release plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, track, and mitigate potential risks or issues that could impact release timelines or quality.
    • Ensuring all changes are well-documented, communicated, and approved according to established change control processes.
    • Coordinating deployments in cloud environments, such as AWS, ensuring compliance with relevant security and operational policies.
    • Championing continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices, driving automation to improve release reliability and efficiency.
    • Tracking release progress and providing regular updates, including detailed performance metrics and status reports to stakeholders.
    • Leading the resolution of issues during release phases to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
    • Maintaining and managing the organization's release calendar, ensuring coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
    • Overseeing the merging of validated changes into main code branches, coordinating closely with development and QA teams.
    • Presenting planned changes in CAB meetings and securing approvals as required across different regions.
    • Organizing and conducting Go/No-Go meetings with stakeholders to assess readiness before deployment.
    • Monitoring post-release performance, coordinating hotfixes if needed, and facilitating Post-Implementation Reviews (PIR).
    • Ensuring all release-related documentation is complete, up-to-date, and meets compliance/audit standards.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in cloud technologies, such as AWS Solutions Architect certification.
    • Familiarity with containerization tools, like Docker, and orchestration tools, like Kubernetes.
    • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
    • Strong understanding of release processes in complex, large-scale environments.
    • Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimize workflows.
