Strategic Risk Oversight Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-check Business Operation Directives for all segments before market start to ensure seamless execution and minimize potential risks.
  • Activate and deactivate trading terminals and investor clients as needed to maintain an efficient and adaptive trading environment.
  • Resolve queries on a day-to-day basis in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and reliable information to stakeholders.
  • Monitor Additional Surveillance Margin (ASM) and report to Heads of Department to facilitate informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Block Global Settlements Mechanism (GSM) and illiquid scrips in the trading system to prevent potential losses and maintain market integrity.
  • Implement RMS blocking for debit, far month contracts, and illiquid scrips to safeguard against excessive exposure and optimize trading outcomes.
  • Track MTM alert violations, net positions, and square off open positions when triggered to ensure prompt action and minimal losses.
  • Square off intraday positions through timer square off for all segments to maintain market stability and prevent liquidity crises.
  • Supervise client limits (base limits and intraday limits) to prevent over-exposure and maintain healthy risk profiles.
  • Coordinate with various teams to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effective communication.
  • Monitor script-wise and client-wise positions, simulated trades, and script concentrations to identify areas for improvement and optimize trading strategies.
  • Track tender period contracts in all segments and manage straggled delivery mechanisms to ensure compliance and minimize disruptions.
  • Implement exchange and depository-related compliances to maintain regulatory adherence and industry best practices.
  • Enhance supervisor reporting, client funds, collateral, security balances, and daily margin reports to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Quarterly settle accounts, dormant processes, and CTCL empanelment to maintain accuracy and completeness in financial records.
