Senior Risk Management Leader
The Chief Risk Officer role oversees all aspects of risk management within the general insurance department. This position requires a deep understanding of risk management principles, insurance regulations, and industry trends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate potential risks within the insurance industry, identifying areas for improvement and mitigating strategies.
- Lead the risk & compliance team in identifying and mitigating risks, providing timely and accurate risk reports to the board of directors.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure compliance with risk management protocols, driving a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the insurance industry's risk management, applying this knowledge to inform strategic decisions.
Key Qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in risk management within the insurance industry, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in general insurance and compliance regulations, including local laws and international standards.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
