The Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional data professional to drive customer analytics and insights for a leading digital marketing platform.

Your mission will be to measure all aspects of the digital marketing strategy, ensuring high conversion, retention, and engagement rates on the site.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate insights from various analyses/sources, delivering detailed analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.

As a data analyst and storyteller, you'll assess, interpret, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights, informing marketing decisions and driving business growth.

In this role, you'll partner with Marketing to identify key visitor segments, draft user stories for the ideal customer experience, and collaborate with other team members to develop comprehensive solutions that meet partner requirements.

You'll leverage experimental design to optimize website and marketing activities, applying advanced analytics tools to analyze test results and provide expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, interpret, and analyze data to deliver insight and understanding of customer behavior.
  • Review test hypotheses, craft success metrics, perform quality assurance, analyze test results, and prepare Test Summaries using behavioral and customer voice analytics.
  • Use experimental design to optimize website and marketing activities as well as new in-product initiatives.
  • Apply outstanding analytics tools to analyze test results and provide interpretation, guidance, and recommendations to aid marketing decision-making.
  • Partner with Marketing to identify key visitor segments, draft user stories for the ideal customer experience for each segment.
  • Work with other team members to integrate insights from different analyses/sources to deliver detailed analysis and recommendations to collaborators.
  • Guarantee solutions are able to scale, be repeated, work efficiently, and meet the requirements of partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required along with practical business experience in analyzing data. MBA or Masters in a quantitative field like Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or IT a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in analytics and/or marketing analytics. Experience in B2C and eCommerce is preferred.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Amplitude (strongly preferred), Google Analytics, or CoreMetrics. Expert in analysis and insight generation. Proven ability to perform in-depth data analysis and present insights in a clear manner.
  • Expert in A/B and Multivariate testing, design of experiments, the mathematics of statistical hypothesis testing coupled with the ability to draw meaningful business insights across multiple tests.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python (preferred) or RStudio, Visualization, and experience with Big Data tools like Hadoop and Hive.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
