Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate analysis and addressing technical issues that arise from routine analysis.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate and schedule lab assignments to analysts/lab technicians, compile and verify data resulting from lab testing, documenting and maintaining accurate records for customer quality control samples.
  • This role involves analyzing and compiling quality control sample results to ensure accuracy and operating efficiency of process and/or testing equipment, as well as ensuring training of laboratory analysts and maintaining lab equipment and supply inventory.
  • The Senior Laboratory Operations Manager will act as second line support to the Laboratory Manager in their absence, implementing corrective actions and closing out nonconformities.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to maintain knowledge and experience in operations within the testing, inspection, and certification industry, while nurturing internal and external client relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the service industry.
