We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and integrations that power modern applications.

The role requires expertise in RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and backend frameworks with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to support web and mobile applications.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Build and manage user management systems, including roles, permissions, and identity integrations.
  • Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance in cloud-native environments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in backend development in enterprise or product environments.
  • Strong expertise in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python for backend development.
  • Proficiency in Authentication & Authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, etc.).
  • Experience in User Management systems & role-based access control.
  • Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases and data modeling best practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Desirable Skills

In addition to the above requirements, having experience with:

  • GraphQL APIs and real-time communication (WebSockets, gRPC).
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Logging, monitoring, and observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).
  • DevOps practices and cloud-native microservices deployment.
  • Event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
