Backend Software Engineer

We're seeking a skilled backend software engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure, efficient, and high-performance server-side logic.
  • Integrate backend services with databases, cloud infrastructure, and external APIs.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams for seamless integrations.
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Implement security and data protection best practices.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and decision-making for large-scale projects.
  • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and tools.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in one or more: Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express/NestJS), or .Net Core.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and REST API design principles.
  • Proficiency in working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC.
  • Exposure to message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience in caching strategies and performance optimization.
  • Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Angular) for full integration.
  • Prior experience in fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS domains.
