Job Title: Academic Outreach Specialist

About the Role:

The Academic Outreach Specialist will play a vital role in engaging with potential students and business partners to drive sales for our institution. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to build customer relationships through cold calling and partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Telesales: contact given leads, conduct outreach initiatives with universities via Google Search and other channels.

  • Identify potential study abroad students and coordinate meetings with academic staff.

  • Coordinate sales and payment collection processes.

  • Collect details of potential students for university partnerships.

  • Initial Counseling: provide guidance on selecting universities and courses - training provided.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with foreign universities.

  • Maintain a diary of leads, follow-ups, meeting schedules, and payments.

  • Develop basic event design skills using Canva.

  • Coordinate and manage events at educational institutions.

  • Manage office space and collaborate with maintenance teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA.
  • 1-3 years' prior experience in business development and telesales.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Focused and goal-oriented individual.
  • Sincere, non-smoker, work enthusiast with innovative ideas.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Own laptop and mobile device.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Will to travel locally.
