As a Guest Service Associate at Accor Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. Your primary function will be to ensure that our guests receive a proficient and professional service that meets and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management:

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend to guest complaints, requests, or inquiries regarding food and services.
  • Establish and maintain seamless coordination and cooperation with all departments to ensure maximum productivity and morale.

Financial Management:

  • Identify optimal cost-effective use of resources and educate the team on the same.

Operational Management:

  • Set up all operating equipment and ensure to inspect linen and condiments before service.
  • Familiarize yourself with all dishes on the menu.
  • Clearance of all soiled chinaware, glassware, and silverware from the guest table and reset the table for the next arrival.
  • In the absence of the Food and Beverage Team Leader, take guest orders and advise guests on specials menu options.
  • Familiarize yourself with the property layout, fire exits, and elevator locations.
  • Report any equipment malfunction, emergency situations, or suspicious persons to the Food and Beverage Team Leader.
  • Ensure that breakage, pilferage, and spoilage are kept to a bare minimum.

Hygiene/Personal Safety/Environment:

  • Ensure that the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by respecting HACCP regulations.
  • Respect the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used.
  • Apply the hotel's security regulations in case of fire, etc.
  • Respect the hotel's commitments to the Environment Charter (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste, etc.) and meets Ibis ISO 14001 environmental commitments as applicable to the role if the hotel is involved in the programme.
