Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Position Overview:

  • Deputy Project Manager (DPM)
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Graduation in Civil Engineering (BE/B Tech/M Tech)
  2. Master's degree in Project Management or a related field (MBA preferred)
  3. At least 9-12 years of experience in managing Irrigation/Water Supply projects
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage single high-value projects exceeding 500 crores in value
  2. Lead project teams and possess thorough knowledge of Tender Clauses, Billings, Department Correspondence, Claims
  3. Resolve issues related to Forest Permissions, Highway Permissions, Local Bodies Permissions
  4. Understand Construction Methods, Materials, and Legal Regulations
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  7. Prepare detailed project plans considering timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates
  8. Monitor and control project progress by making necessary adjustments to meet objectives
  9. Create collaborative and high-performance working environments
  10. Prepare budgets and manage projects according to budget, controlling costs and achieving targeted margins
  11. Assess approvals of project expenditure and consider its financial implications on the project cost
  12. Implement quality control measures, safety rules, and regulations
  13. Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other vendors
  14. Plan resources, manpower, and materials to achieve budgeted/planned performance
  15. Understand Accounting Principles, Financial Aspects, Risk Management, Strategic Decisions, etc.
