Industrial Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and proactive coordinator with 2-4 years of experience in construction or project management. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior project managers to ensure seamless coordination and execution of industrial construction projects.

  • Support Senior Managers: Prepare reports, charts, and project documentation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and expectations.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Coordinate design and engineering between different disciplines and perform clash checks for PEB, civil works, piping, ducts, and openings.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Prepare preliminary schedules, bar charts, catch-up plans, and look-ahead schedules to manage project progress.
  • Tendering Process: Assist in cost estimating, tendering processes, and tender documentation.
  • Submission and Resolution: Expedite and follow up on submissions, resolving bottlenecks proactively.
  • Conflict Resolution: Track and report potential or actual project conflicts to the project manager.
  • Meeting Management: Prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action points.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or Master's in Construction/Project Management (M. Tech in CPM).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in project or construction management within consultancy or construction organizations.
  • Industry Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in industrial construction projects.
  • Fundamental Skills: Basic understanding of cost estimation, tendering, and documentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in preparing schedules, bar charts, and project tracking tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Coordination Skills: Strong coordination and follow-up abilities to remove bottlenecks and expedite progress.
