Senior Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global technology team as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). This role requires a proactive leader with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of working in high-availability and mission-critical environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise-level Oracle database environments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing high-availability Oracle environments using Oracle RAC and Data Guard
  • Administering and maintaining Oracle Exadata systems, including patching, monitoring, resource management, and performance tuning
  • Leading Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure), including backup and disaster recovery strategy planning
  • Performing advanced SQL and database performance tuning, query optimization, and system diagnostics
  • Ensuring database security, integrity, and compliance with corporate standards and policies

The ideal candidate will have 18+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration with deep expertise in RAC, Oracle Exadata, cloud database platforms, performance tuning, and handling of VLDB (Very Large Database).

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – DBA Track, are highly valued. Experience working in 24x7 production support environments is essential.

  • Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and system diagnostics
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
