PHP Developer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement the overall architecture of web applications.

- Ensure maximum speed and scalability of applications by optimizing performance.

- Troubleshoot complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Develop and deploy available and scalable backend web services and customer-facing APIs using core AWS technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills, and data structures.

- Experience in agile methodologies like Scrum.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Conduct analysis of website and application requirements.

- Write back-end code and build efficient PHP modules.

- Develop back-end portals with an optimized database.

- Troubleshoot application and code issues.

- Integrate data storage solutions.

- Respond to integration requests from front-end developers.

- Finalize back-end features and test web applications.

- Update and alter application features to enhance performance.

- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

- Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required.

- Work with business intelligence applications and contribute in a data analyst role.

- Document features, technical specifications, and infrastructure responsibilities.

Professional Requirements:

- Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications.

- Discuss project aims with clients and development teams.

- Design and build web applications using Laravel.

- Troubleshoot issues in implementation and debug builds.

- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers on projects.

- Test functionality for users and the backend.

- Ensure integrations run smoothly.

- Scale projects based on client feedback.

- Record and report on work done in Laravel.

- Maintain web-based applications.

- Present work in meetings with clients and management.
