Job Title: Sr. Java Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
  • Ensure designs comply with specifications.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
  • Contribute to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation, and Support activities.

Requirements:
  • Solid software design skills.
  • Understanding of multi-threading.
  • Understanding of micro-services based cloud native architecture.
  • Write performant, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle.
  • Experience with working with/deploying applications in Linux or Unix environments.
  • Good understanding of version control systems like GIT and SVN.
