Senior Tax Professional

Job Overview:
A senior tax professional will prepare complex tax returns, analyze tax implications, and provide consultancy on tax matters.
- Tax Return Preparation: Prepare tax audit transfer pricing income tax returns based on detailed analysis of applicable laws
- Tax Analysis: Analyze tax implications of certain incentives given to employees and advise internal stakeholders on tax-effective structure
- TDS Consultancy: Provide consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications on overseas payments made by entities
- Notice Response: Prepare submissions in response to notices from authorities, undertaking detailed study of case history legal research on issued involved and preparation of appeal submissions
- Team Leadership: Effectively liaise with external and internal stakeholders, represent the organization externally on tax-related matters, and keep team members and superiors updated on tax reforms and impact on LTIM measures
- Process Improvement: Understand current tax processes effectively, connect business processes with tax function, apply tools and process improvements to tax function, and take initiative to automate tasks to make the tax function more effective and efficient
