About the Role

The Career Guidance Expert is a strategic position aimed at providing students with expert guidance on career opportunities. This role involves orienting students towards clear career goals, engaging with students and academicians to apprise them on industry expectations, and implementing directives from the GCGC.

Main Responsibilities
  • Orient students towards a clear career goal
  • Engage with students and academicians to apprise them on industry expectations
  • Implement directives received from GCGC
  • Conduct external assessments to analyze student potential
  • Ensure smooth conduct of trainings
  • Oversee sessions on employability skills
  • Share information with students, mentors, and academicians
  • Conduct campus drives from job posting to onboarding
  • Support recruiters during campus drives
  • Support alternate career services
  • Manage database of student outcomes for all schools in the campus
  • Report data and information periodically as required to IQAC, GCGC, GITAM Leadership, etc.

This role requires strong networking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in handling student career outcomes, campus placement drives, and education field is highly desirable.
