Portfolio Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

  • As a Portfolio Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in building robust portfolio intelligence tools and analytics components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

You will analyze portfolio- and security-level performance, risk, and attribution, and decompose returns to identify key drivers of alpha, beta, and idiosyncratic outcomes. Additionally, you will conduct market, macroeconomic, and security-level research to support client workflows and product insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Tool Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust portfolio intelligence tools and analytics components
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze portfolio- and security-level performance, risk, and attribution
  • Return Decomposition: Decompose returns to identify key drivers of alpha, beta, and idiosyncratic outcomes
  • Research Support: Conduct market, macroeconomic, and security-level research to support client workflows and product insights

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a front-office financial role (investment banking, hedge fund, asset management)
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, with strong proficiency in financial modeling and interpreting large datasets
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of core investment concepts: portfolio theory, risk attribution, yield, drawdown, correlation, and volatility
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for institutional clients
  • Interest: Demonstrated deep interest in financial markets, investment strategies, and institutional workflows
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with institutional investment processes, research platforms, and financial data tools
