Portfolio Research Analyst Role

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Research Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in analyzing client portfolios, providing actionable insights to support portfolio managers, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk-return parameters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required, along with professional certifications and 2-5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough portfolio analysis and rebalancing to optimize asset allocation and manage risk-adjusted returns.
  • Perform comprehensive research and due diligence on Mutual Funds (MFs), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) products to support informed investment recommendations.
  • Monitor and track performance of client portfolios against benchmarks and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to design customized investment strategies that meet client objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Prepare insightful research reports, presentations, and client notes that facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Support in creating model portfolios and recommending rebalancing strategies based on market movements, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio rebalancing techniques and asset allocation models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PMS structures, strategies, and regulatory aspects.
