Job Description

As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our credit underwriting and monitoring strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of underwriting policies that ensure portfolio growth and risk management.

You will closely collaborate with data science teams to analyze and validate underwriting models, ensuring their performance on current portfolios. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing performance benchmarks and taking corrective action in case of breaches.

Automation is key to minimizing manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness. You will determine optimal pricing strategies based on segmentation analysis and standardize policies and processes for efficient portfolio management.

Portfolio profitability, funnel metrics, and risk thresholds are critical areas of focus. You will track these indicators and recommend policy changes to the policy head as needed.

Performance Monitoring
  1. Conduct regular portfolio analysis and monitor portfolio performance.
  2. Identify high-risk segments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  3. Monitor delinquent accounts to maintain company standards and benchmark delinquency rates.
  4. Analyze MIS data to optimize portfolio performance and risk management.

New Partner Integrations
  1. Understand new product offerings, target segments, and customer journeys.
  2. Collaborate with partners to gather necessary data and create policies tailored to their products and segments.
  3. Facilitate data room exercises and formulate policies considering expected loss rates.
  4. Oversee policy implementation, UAT, and production test runs, resolving bottlenecks as needed.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with partners, credit reporting agencies, and internal functions.
