Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to integrate, install, and maintain laboratory equipment used for sample processing with the LIMS - Lab Information Management System. This entails ensuring seamless reporting and systems integration along with the LIMS platform.

This position will be accountable for integrating instrument interfaces & overseeing developments done by vendors. Additionally, it involves managing LIMS-related projects with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with defined SLAs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating lab equipment with the LIMS Platform, participating in the deployment of a functional LIMS system with required customizations, and executing unit testing of interfaces.

Furthermore, they will resolve defects as needed, integrate and deploy systems according to system manual instructions, and work closely with LIMS Teams for performance optimization.

This role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, working with Pan India teams on complex software with varied configurations and integrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include 5-8 years of experience in relevant fields, B.E/ B.Tech in CS /IT, or MCA. Prior experience/background in LIMS, ASTM/HL7/XML protocol over TCP/IP & RS232, and Healthcare Domain Expertise is also desirable.

The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of laboratory business and operational workflow from sample collection to reporting, as well as knowledge of Instrument Interface with LIMS. Familiarity with STARLIMS, an Abbott informatics product, and implementation of business layer for clinical device integration is also preferred.

Additionally, candidates should have 2-3 years of software development experience (.Net & Java), and knowledge of pre-analytical lab automation devices like Automate, Cobas p612 robots etc. and Middleware solution i.e. AMS, Infinity, ADM, Remisol etc. is added advantage.
