GRC Consultant Job Description

A GRC consultant is essential for our organization. They will be responsible for implementing the GRC system, ensuring policy compliance, security requirements governance, and risk management for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop client initiatives to reduce technology risk, improve governance, and enhance compliance with policies and external regulations.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design and implement IT security standards, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and improve client security posture.
  • Analyze information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environment.
  • Support senior team members in designing and delivering work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL.
  • Investigate internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, and assess incidents, vulnerability management, and secure baselines.
  • Document control failures and gaps, provide remediation guidance, and prepare management reports to track remediation activities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards is preferred.
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Ideal candidates will have a CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualification.
  • Strong decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence change.
