Job Title:

A business excellence manager is responsible for implementing standardized delivery and product engineering practices across product development, implementation, and support projects.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our delivery and product engineering excellence initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software services/software product development and experience in managing projects, teams, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement delivery and product engineering excellence strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Collaborate with delivery/engineering leadership to identify and mitigate delivery risks and improve quality and productivity.
  3. Manage a team of delivery/product engineering excellence professionals to ensure effective execution of delivery and product engineering strategies.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and standardize engineering, delivery, and support processes.
  5. Benchmark against industry best practices to contextualize and implement process improvements.
  6. Lead process transformation programs to drive cultural change and improve business outcomes.
  7. Provide executive-level reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of delivery excellence experience in a software services/software product development organization.
  • 6+ years of proven implementation/dev/test/support experience in a software services/software product development organization preferred.
  • Experience in managing projects desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in SDLC processes & methodologies, viz., agile (SAFe preferred)/waterfall, project management, ALM, and development/test tools, DevOps, process improvement techniques like Lean, emerging areas like SaaS.
  • Experience in managing small cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Knowledge of business/project financials.
  • Experience in managing change initiatives preferred.
