As Assistant Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Centre's programs, research initiatives, and academic collaborations. Reporting to the Director, you will contribute to advancing our Centre's vision by managing key initiatives, supporting research, and engaging with global stakeholders.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong academic or policy background, aspiring for leadership roles in academia or policy-driven research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in defining and executing the Centre's research agenda, focusing on impactful publications that drive global discourse.
  • Lead independent research projects, contributing to our Centre's portfolio of cutting-edge publications.
  • Mentor Research Fellows and early-career scholars to build academic capacity and foster innovation.
Program and Project Management
  • Design and implement academic programs, workshops, and residencies that align with our Centre's goals and objectives.
  • Manage in-house research projects, including curriculum design, textbook development, or data initiatives that address pressing sustainable economics challenges.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of annual events such as conferences, workshops, and industry conclaves, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, think tanks, and funding organizations to secure resources and partnerships.
  • Represent our Centre at national and international forums to strengthen its reputation and reach a broader audience.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts, including grant writing and donor engagement, to support our Centre's mission.

We offer a highly competitive salary of ₹1,200,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional skills and experience.
