Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our organization. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and management information systems (MIS) reports
  • Performing month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with goods and services tax (GST), tax deducted at source (TDS), income-tax return (ITR), and other statutory requirements
  • Managing inventory accounting and cost analysis
  • Supporting audits with proper documentation
  • Generating reports as needed by management
  • Processing entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment
  • Collaborating with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
  • FOLLOWING ACCOUNTING STANDARDS AND COMPANY POLICIES

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably working under a chartered accountant (CA) or in a CA firm
  • Proficiency in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other enterprise resource planning tools is an asset)
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (food and beverages domain is an asset)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools
