Software Engineer - Backend

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical experience, preferably within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor fellow engineers and demonstrate technical expertise.
  • Solve complex or unchartered technical problems.
  • Lead design and implementation of robust, highly available, scalable, and secure web services.
  • Apply innovation to generate creative ideas for emerging business needs.

Technical Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in programming languages such as React, Redux, GraphQL.
  • Experience in building, deploying applications using CI & CD tools and cloud-based solution design, configuration, and development experience with any Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of messaging or event-driven systems, databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couchbase, Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB or other NoSQL technologies), Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with Source Control Tools – Github or BitBucket and management tools like Rally, JIRA.
  • A strong understanding of SDLC/Agile methodology and the ability to apply it to the development of software.

Desirable Experience:

  • Hands-on experience on React JS, Redux, GraphQL, BFF, well-versed in Caching Techniques (Redis, Hazlecast, Aerospike), feature toggle, and Adobe Analytics.
  • Ability to challenge the design and do thorough impact analysis.
  • Building large-scale distributed systems that can handle large amounts of load.
