Oracle Order Management Consultant Role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to design, implement and support order management solutions using Oracle's Communications OSS Stack products. This role offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects in the telecommunications domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Oracle Communications OSS solutions including OSM, RODOD, RSDOD, and NRM.
  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation for project-specific needs.
  • Perform code build and deployment for development and testing environments.
  • Handle installation, configuration and troubleshooting of OSM and related components.
  • Support solution integration, testing and optimization activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end OSS implementations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Provide technical guidance for ongoing implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–9 years of experience with Oracle OSM (version 7.3.x and above), preferably in the telecommunications domain.
  • Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of OSS domain concepts and communications industry workflows.
  • Proficiency with Java, XML, XQuery, WebServices, WebLogic, and RDBMS technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with OSM installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model, and Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in collaborative environments.
