We are seeking an experienced Linux professional to assume a key role in our organization.

About the Position

This is a critical position, responsible for maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure Linux infrastructures for complex applications and services.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and developing customized solutions for unique technical requirements based on project specifications and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conducting assessments of current Linux systems and recommending modifications or upgrades to maximize efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
  • Coodinating the migration of applications and services onto newer Linux releases or distribution versions.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to established security policies and guidelines.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices connected to Linux systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align Linux systems with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Participating in performance tuning exercises to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
  • Investigating and resolving complex issues arising from applications or services running on Linux systems.
  • Supervising junior Linux professionals.
  • Creating documentation pertaining to Linux administration tasks.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and emerging trends in the field.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as RHCA or Cloud Solution Architect.
