Senior Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with deep knowledge of information retrieval systems, design and implement cutting-edge search functionality using modern search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop advanced search applications with a focus on relevancy, performance, and user experience
- Create and optimize search algorithms, ranking models, and retrieval methods to enhance search quality
- Develop efficient indexing strategies and data preparation pipelines to support search operations
- Analyze and maintain existing search infrastructure and applications to ensure optimal performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years of experience developing search solutions
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Hands-on experience with search engines like Elasticsearch, Solr, or Azure Search
- Expertise in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions for data storage and retrieval
- Experience with text processing, NLP, and relevance tuning techniques
