Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the development of advanced battery technologies.

  • Conduct experiments and testing of battery materials in various configurations.
  • Benchmark properties and performance against industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize existing cell performances.
  • Maintain and setup laboratory equipment for battery testing.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess knowledge of:

  • Battery materials, including cathode, anode, and electrolyte.
  • Hands-on experience with assembly and testing of lithium-ion cells (coin and pouch type).
  • Electrochemical methods such as cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy.
  • Chemical analysis, thermal analysis, and spectrophotometry.
  • Inorganic synthesis, particularly oxides, phosphates, and silicates of alkali and transition metals.

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry or Inorganic Chemistry or have equivalent experience in Li/Na ion batteries.

  • Strong understanding of chemistry and operational issues.
  • Able to develop innovative approaches for research and analysis in a new lab environment.
