Job Title: Water Treatment Specialist

Are you an expert in water treatment and management?
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the operation, maintenance, and quality assurance of our Demineralisation (DM) Water Treatment Plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted and high-purity water supply for boiler and turbine operations, while adhering to plant safety, operational efficiency, and environmental regulations.

This role involves managing a team of water treatment technicians/operators and supervising their work to ensure compliance with established procedures and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Environmental Science and at least 5 years of experience in DM plant operations in thermal or biomass power plants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and supervise the entire DM water treatment process
• Ensure consistent and reliable supply of DM water with required quality parameters
• Conduct regular chemical analysis of raw water, DM water, condensate, and feedwater
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot process issues
• Maintain documentation and reports as per company policies and industry norms

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Expertise in DM water production and boiler feedwater treatment
• Strong understanding of steam-water cycle chemistry in thermal/biomass power plants
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments: pH meter, conductivity meter, spectrophotometer, silica analyzer, etc.
• Knowledge of boiler chemistry guidelines (e.g., ASME, OEM specifications)
• Leadership, documentation, and root cause analysis skills
