Structured Finance Research Analyst

Maintain market coupon performance models for various banks in Excel to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Create, update and maintain comprehensive databases by utilizing Bloomberg/Intex tools on Agency MBS and RMBS sectors.

Regularly capture market data such as issuance, coupon performance, rating actions etc.

Utilize analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.

Provide day-to-day support to the On-shore team and work on ad-hoc client requests.

Analyze multiple complex database tables in excel and present relevant output charts/tables.

Assist in writing research notes and preparing associated charts and tables.

Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly recurring publications which include building and updating databases and writing reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain market coupon performance models for various banks in Excel.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Structured Finance sector.
  • Knowledge of market data tools like Bloomberg, Intex.
  • Excellent MS Excel and Word skills.
  • Basic Knowledge in VBA, SQL preferred.
  • Sound understanding of credit ratings.
  • Good writing skills to help in research reports.
  • Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
